skills than the number one news town in the world, Washington, D.C.
This intensive eight-week program is designed for students looking
for professional, hands-on training in print or
broadcast journalism,
PR, and politics.

One of Washington's top academic and internship programs, IPJ has
provided undergraduates with the ultimate Washington, D.C. summer experience
for the past two decades. The Institute selects many of the best undergraduate
journalism students in the country to attend this Institute each summer,
where they attend classes in economics, ethics, and leadership and
also serve in internships with major news organizations. Participants
also attend regular briefings at principal news sites such as The U.S. House of Representatives,
The White House and The State Department.
With a single application, students are enrolled at Georgetown University,
live in a furnished apartment on campus in the center of D.C., and
are placed in a competitive internship for eight weeks.
