Summer Law Fellowship
The TFAS Summer Law Fellowship includes optional housing in residential buildings in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington DC, just a short walk from the Capitol Building, the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court and two Metrorail stations.
These are furnished historic apartments with shared bedrooms. Each apartment includes 2-3 bedrooms, with 2 people assigned to each bedroom.
The apartments are internet-ready and air-conditioned, and have easily accessible laundry facilities. Each apartment has a fully furnished kitchen with plates, silverware, and glassware. Also included are two or three twin-sized beds, a table and chairs, a full bathroom and closets. The living/dining area is equipped with a TV with basic cable. TFAS staff will hand-match you with roommates based on compatibility preferences provided in a housing survey completed at the time of enrollment.
Students not comfortable living with 2-6 roommates in a historic building setting are highly encouraged to find accommodations elsewhere. Students choosing to live elsewhere may be eligible to receive a $1,500 housing stipend. Contact TFAS staff for more details.
