Social Activities

Throughout the summer, optional activities are planned to encourage students to socialize with other participants outside of the classroom, and take advantage of the many attractions D.C. has to offer.

Past social activities have included:

• A guided tour of the monuments along the National Mall
• Networking happy hours
• Washington Nationals Baseball Game
• BBQ held at Georgetown University with alumni, staff and students
• Washington National Zoo
• Canoeing or kayaking
• Millennium Stage performances at the Kennedy Center
