Overview

Participants in LSI program have the opportunity to live, work and study in the nation's most powerful city.

Housing is provided for all students in fully furnished apartments in the charming Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Students also have the opportunity to take advantage of the extensive amount of cost-free cultural and site- seeing activities that Washington has to offer, such as:

  • Exhibits at Smithsonian museums
  • Marine Corps concerts at the Capitol
  • 4th of July fireworks display
  • Free shows on Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center
  • Jazz concerts in the Sculpture Garden at the Hirshhorn Museum

With something new and exciting always happening in the city, students are encouraged to make the most of their D.C. experience!

“LSI connected me with other amazing law students smack dab in the center of the political/legal climate. It was the best summer I had. Being in the nation's capital was an invaluable experience.”
Michael Rivera, Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law
