Academics
Overview
Students are afforded an experience with political journalism both in the classroom and in the office
|
The institute is an intense academic program with ten hours of class per week, reading assignments and exams. Students are required to attend all class sessions and participate in class discussions in order to complete the program.
The Institute offers one optional course, the Journalism Internship Seminar that allows students to earn credit for their internship experience. Participants will earn six or nine credit hours from Georgetown University for successfully completing the Institute.
It is the student's responsibility to check with their home university regarding their specific policy for transferring internship credit.
