ICPES students intern at a variety of organizations, here a few examples of past internship experiences:

Anders Lind interned with the Corporate Communications Office at The Carlyle Group

• Connor Martin was hired as a full-time employee by his internship site, The Charles Group, a niche consulting and lobbying firm.
• Joseph Karch was responsible for approving the renewal applications for lenders at the Small Business Administration.
• Jeffrey Lowry helped to organize the American Legislative Exchange Council’s Annual Meeting in Philadelphia in addition to researching and reporting on federal legislation.
• James Lusk had the opportunity to play McGruff the Crime Dog during his internship at the National Crime Prevention Council where he researched crime prevention curriculum for middle school students.
• Kathleen Adams interned in the Office of U.S. Representative Nancy Boyda (D-KS) where she helped answer telephones, give Capitol tours, and assisted with constituent mail.
