ICPES students intern at a variety of organizations, here a few examples of past internship experiences:

Patrick Martinez interned with the National Governors Association
  • United States Department of the Treasury
    Alexandra Cagan wrote memos summarizing policy initiatives for the leadership of the Office of Emergency Programs at the Treasury Department.

  • The Charles Group
    Robert O’Berg performed threat analysis and drafted reports for the staff of The Charles Group, as well as attending briefings, hearings and lectures relevant to client’s interests.

  • Center for Education Reform
    Austin Bussing tracked education focused legislation as it moved through individual state legislatures as well as analyzed key news stories through the Center for Education Reform’s media bullpen.

  • United States Small Business Administration
    Mitchell DeRubis developed, coordinated and managed a database project for the Office of Credit Risk Management at the United States Small Business Administration

  • American Council of Young Political Leaders
    Tornike Zurabashvili accompanied Algerian and Japanese delegations during their visits to Washington, DC while interning at the American Council of Young Political Leaders

  • The Mercatus Center
    Anna Wright covered important hearings on the hill, wrote key reports for staff members and compiled Congressional votes to be used as an outreach tool during her time at The Mercatus Center.
