Site Briefings
Students outside of the Federal Reserve after a briefing.

Capitol Hill Briefing:
Students will visit hear from a Member of Congress’ office and talk candidly about current events. Past speakers have included Congressman Mike Ross (D-AK), Congressman Mike Ferguson (R-NJ) and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA).
Embassy Briefing:
Students have the opportunity to visit a foreign embassy and learn about the role Ambassadors play in U.S. -Foreign relations. Past visits have included the Colombian Embassy where students were addressed by the Minister of Cultural Affairs and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office where students met with the Director-General.
Federal Reserve Briefing:
At the Federal Reserve, students learn about the overall structure and function of the Federal Reserve as well as their role in monetary policy. Students will also hear an overview of the current economic situation. Students are addressed by a senior advisor to the Federal Reserve Board.
Pentagon Tour:
The tour is guided by enlisted military personnel and includes a visit to the 9/11 Memorial and access to the inner courtyard of the Pentagon.
State Department Briefing:
Students attend a private breifing at the World Bank

Students are briefed on current issues of international concern such
as the War on Terror and the Middle East conflict. Past speakers have included the desk officers of Kosovo and Serbia and the Asia-Pacific Region.
White House Tours:
Students have the opportunity
to tour the White House
and
and view one of the two largest collections of Presidential Portraits.
World Bank Briefing:
The briefing is a change for students learn about the function the World Bank plays in global economic development. Speakers also address the types of careers available though the Bank.
