Comparative Economic Systems
(3 credits) - ECON 257
All students accepted to ICPES are required to take Comparative Economic Systems. This course is an examination of the advantages of capitalism and history of free-market economies. Micro or macroeconomics is a prerequisite for this course, but may be waived in special circumstances. For your reference, please click here for the Summer 2011 syllabus.
Theories of Constitutional Interpretation
GOVT 408 (3 credits)
The course explores American politics from the conception of the U.S. Constitution to the current centralized federal government. The class will also examine how the role of government has changed, how people’s relationship to the government has evolved, and what this means for the future. Public Policy Internship Seminar (3 credits - optional) - GOVT 241
This optional third course allows students to earn credit for their internship experience through Georgetown University. The course focuses on current issues addressed in students' internships.
