Alumni Involvement

WAYS TO CONNECT AND GET INVOLVED AS AN ALUMNUS

Your program experience doesn’t have to end after your summer or semester in DC! Alumni are one of the best resources for the success of our programs. You can connect with a network of over 18,000 alumni worldwide and help future students by volunteering in a number of ways!

ALUMNI AMBASSADORS

Ambassadors reach out via email or phone to recently accepted students to answer questions and encourage enrollment. The word of an alumnus is powerful! Sign up as an Ambassador and help us secure our next class of incoming students. Email Dana Faught at dfaught@tfas.org to sign up.

CAMPUS RECRUITERS

A select number of students who recently participated in the program serve as Campus Recruiters on their home campus. They act as a resource for students interested in attending our programs.

MENTOR PROGRAM

Alumni can help college students have the ultimate DC experience! We seek working professionals in the DC area to volunteer as mentors to students attending one of our programs. Mentors are matched with students based on several common factors including professional field, hometown, alma mater and political ideology. For more information, please contact mentor@TFAS.org.

Alumni serve as mentors to summer and semester students.

SPEAKERS AND INTERNSHIP HOSTS

DC area alumni can support the summer and semester programs by volunteering to be a speaker, small group host or internship sponsor for our students.
